Free Tree Planting Project
The Board has decided to table the Free Tree Planting Project on Olive Circle.  We plan to
plant trees  on Olive Circle to improve the entrance of our subdivision at no charge to our
homeowners. We hope to complete this project in 2010.

Graffiti in Ransom Park
In the past we have been tagged with Graffiti.  The Board has sent these pictures to the Gang
Unit at the South Precinct.  From what we understand the Gang Unit will forward this
information to Public Works and they will remove it.  Some of our concerned neighbors have
volunteered to remove the graffiti themselves and the Board has approved that as well.  We
will continue to stay on top of this issue and do what we can regarding this matter.

Pools in Ransom Park
Please see the bylaws on this website regarding pools.  All homeowners are required to
submit their plans before erecting a pool.  In addition they are to have a child safety fence
around the pool.  In general the Board requires most outside construction to be done by
professionals.  If a homeowner puts up a pool without doing these things they are in violation
of our bylaws and will be sighted a violation letter.

Excitement on Deercreek Trail N.
No you are not seeing things. We actually had horses come visit us this month! (December
2009) Even they know Ransom Park is a great place to live. Although beautiful horses, we
had to get them back to their owners.

How to dispose of unwanted medications...
Did you know that there is a proper way to dispose of out of date and unwanted
medications? Remove the unused medication from its original container and place it in
a sealable plastic bag such as a baggie or sandwich bag, mix with an undesirable
substance such as used coffee grounds, kitty litter, or other pet waste and place the bag
in your normal household trash.  Dispose of the trash as you would other household
garbage. This will insure the medication is disposed of safely in an environmentally
engineered and protective landfill. It is important that you do NOT flush unused
medications down a toilet or  sink! For more information on waste disposal issues,
contact Metro Public Works at 862-8750.
